A Network Built for Collaboration

The iSimangaliso MPA Research Network brings together institutions and practitioners working across the protected area. It helps align research with management needs and strengthens knowledge exchange.

The network was initiated through the PIRA seed grant by Michigan State University, the University of Pretoria and Sharklife Conservation Group. It works with the iSimangaliso Wetland Park Authority as a research and monitoring partner, supporting collaborative implementation aligned with Park priorities.
